Preparing a strong case for medical negligence compensation

Medical negligence is perhaps one of the most complex compensation claims to prove. This is because you may not be familiar with advanced medical procedures, terminology and potential things that could go wrong after receiving treatment. Because many people entrust their health in the hands of medical practitioners when they're sick/injured, it can be difficult to challenge the quality of care that one received and whether something went wrong as a result of receiving such care.

Workers' Compensation: What to Know About Claim Investigations

When one gets injured at work, it is easy for them to assume that the insurance company will immediately pay for the medical expenses and lost wages. In most cases, this is what happens, and most employees don't have to drag the insurance company to court. However, there are instances when the insurance company will ask for an investigation into the claims before settling the matter. They assign a private investigator or one from their firm to look into the claim and ascertain whether it is valid.

About Me

Finding justice for the vulnerable

I work in a not-for-profit that helps the homeless. It's amazing how often crimes are perpetrated on homeless people and they often don't feel like they have a path to get justice. It makes me really sad. This blog explains some of the ways that vulnerable people can work with lawyers and support people to ensure that they get justice for things that have happened to them. I hope it will be useful to all of the people that support vulnerable populations including teachers, social workers and people working in outreach health roles as well as families of vulnerable people.
